Overall this was another very successful season for the club’s three teams. The U21’s took part in the inaugural season of the PJYL U21 League and did very well especially considering the majority of players were actually U18, so playing against much older players in other teams. The team finished the season in 4th place, on goal difference, and only one point off 2nd place, a real achievement. The team also reached the semi-final of the PJYL Sub Cup and had several notable results during the year including a fantastic 11-0 win against Sandbach United Falcons in the Crewe FA Cup. Top scorer for the season was Dean with 28 goals, even more remarkable as he didn’t start playing until after the season was well underway. The team will now be losing several of the stalwarts of the side for the past few seasons, and longer, as players go off to university, we wish them all well in their future endeavours.

The U15’s had a fantastic season but ultimately it will be remembered for the heartbreaking last game drama when the League title came down to the last match against Audley FC. Whichever side won would win the league and unfortunately for us it was Audley that took the title. However, the lads did us proud and it was still a brilliant achievement to finish second. They also reached the semi-final of the League Cup and had several remarkable scorelines during the season including a 15-0 victory against Shamblers and two other victories of 10-1. Top scorer was again Levi. The team has been promoted to Division One for the new season so we wish them luck against stronger opposition.

The U8’s continued to develop and also had a very good season winning the majority of their matches at the Alex Soccer Centre. They will progress to the U9 age group for the coming season and we are hoping for good things as the youngsters develop.
