Sunday 20th March

The U16’s went down 4-1 to Alex Soccer Centre today in the semi-final of the League Cup after extra time. In a closely fought game the boys played really well but just couldn’t keep it up for the extra thirty minutes. The U9’s had a good win beating AFC Cheshire Blades 8-0 with goals from Jamie, Harrison (5) and Kane (2). Not suprisingly Harrison was named Man of the Match after his five goals!

Sunday 13th March

Regretfully it has been decided to disband the U21 team as we are struggling to raise a team each week and with a lot of midweek matches to come the situation would probably become worse. Thanks to all those who have played for the team over the years and to Glyn for managing the team.

The U9’s beat Winsford Diamonds 3-0 with goals from Harrison (2) and Kane. Man of the Match was Jamie. The U16’s didn’t have a game.

Sunday 6th March

The U21’s went down to a thumping defeat 9-1 against Eastwood Hanley Blue in the first round of the League Cup. Chris got our consolation goal. The U9’s fortunately fared much better, beating Betley Fireworks 6-0 with goals from Harrison (3), Kody (2) and Kane. Man of the the Match was Kody. The U16’s didn’t have a game.

Sunday 28th February

The U16’s drew 1-1 away at Shamblers who are currently top of the League. The U9’s beat Nantwich Town Tigers 5-1 with goals from Kane (3), Harrison and Kody. Brandon was Man of the Match. The U21’s did not play.

Sunday 21st February

The U16’s had a great 1-1 draw away at Shamblers today but the U21’s lost 5-0 at Ball Haye Green. The U9’s had another good win this time 5-1 against Nantwich Town Tigers with a hat-trick from Kane and other goals from Harrison and Kody. Brandon was Man of the Match.

Sunday 14th February

The U16’s had a great win at 4-3 away at Leek Town in the Quarter Final of the League Cup and must wait now to find out their opponents in the Semi-Final. The U9’s beat Nantwich Town Tigers 3-1 with goals from Jamie, Harrison and Kane. The U21’s match was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Sunday 7th February

Both U21 and U16 games were again postponed due to the continued bad weather. The U9’s got a great 7-0 win with Leo (3), Nathan (2), Kane and Harrison scoring. The Man of the Match was shared by Nathan and Leo.

Sunday 31st January

Both the U21 and U16 games were again postponed due to the bad weather. The U9’s drew 1-1 with Crewe Cavalier Lightening Blue with Kane scoring. Harry was man of the match.

Sunday 24th January

Our teams were finally back in action today. The U16’s had a stunning 2-1 victory over the Alex Soccer Centre who had previously had a 100% record. Both goals came from Dom. The U21’s recorded a 2-2 draw against SFC Tonsberg with Rich and Billy scoring and the U9’s defeated Crewe Arrows 3-0 with Leo, Harrison and Kane scoring, Kody was man of the match.

Both the U21 and U16 matches were called off again today due to the continued bad weather.

Sunday 3rd January

The U21’s lost 7-3 today to Shamblers in a game played in terrible conditions. Ryan (2) and Kyle got our goals. The U16’s game yesterday was postponed and the U9’s were not scheduled to play.

Saturday 2nd January

Happy New Year and best wishes to all our players and supporters. The U16’s match scheduled for today has been postponed due to the bad weather. Tomorrow’s U21 game has been switched to Alsager Leisure Centre as Cheshire East have postponed all games on their pitches.

Sunday 20th December

Our U21’s should have been in action this morning against Engage FC but unfortunately our opponents couldn’t raise a team so the match has been awarded to us. The U16’s and U9’s didn’t have a match today. Our next fixtures are now in the New Year so best wishes for a happy Christmas and New Year to all our players and supporters.

Sunday 13th December

The U16’s had a great result today beating Cheadle South Moorlands 6-2 in the League Cup with Dom and Liam both getting two goals each. The U21’s narrowly lost 4-3 to Leek Town, goalie Alex also saved a penalty. The U9’s took part in the Christmas Cup at the Soccer Centre, here they are in their very Christmassy outfits:

 

Sunday 6th December

The U9’s got back to winning ways again today with a great 3-0 win against Nantwich Town Panthers with Leo, Kane and Harrison scoring, Kody was Man of the Match. The U16’s had a great 8-1 win in a friendly. The U21’s match was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Sunday 29th November

Mixed results for our sides today with the U21’s getting an impressive 4-0 win against Eastwood Hanley White, our new goalie Alex keeping a clean sheet on his debut and being voted Man of the Match, but the U16’s went down to a creditable 3-0 defeat against the undefeated Alex Soccer Centre, and the U9’s long unbeaten run since March came to an end with a 2-1 defeat against Crewe FC Star Blues with Leo getting our consolation goal, Harry was Man of the Match.

Sunday 22nd November

The U16’s lost a difficult game against the undefeated Stone Dominoes 8-1 today. The U9’s kept their undefeated run going though with a fantastic 4-0 win against Crewe Cav Lightning with Leo and Harrison both getting two goals, Kane was man of the match. The U21’s match was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Sunday 15th November

The U15’s had a great result today drawing 3-3 away at Alsager. After going 2-0 up we let Alsager back into the game to lead 3-2 before we got a last minute equaliser. The U9’s kept their winning run going with an 8-0 win against Crewe Arrows with goals from Leo, Harrison (5), Kane and Jamie, man of the match was Harrison with his five goal haul. Well done to both our teams!

Saturday 14th November

The U21’s match tomorrow at home to Eastwood Hanley Blue at Forge Fields has been postponed as Cheshire East have called off all games on their pitches due to the forecast wet weather.

Sunday 8th November

The U21’s battled to a creditable 1-1 draw with unbeaten Eccleshall today with a goal from Chris. The U16’s went down 7-0 to Stone Dominoes in the 1st round of the Sentinel Shield. The U9’s kept up their winning run though with a great 2-1 win.

Sunday 1st November

A day of contrasting fortunes today with the U9’s recording a stunning 14-0 victory against Betley Fireworks. The goals coming from Leo (6), Kody (3), Harrison (4) and Brandon. Man of the match was Harrison. See a picture of the boys celebrating below. The U21’s went down to a 5-0 defeat at Hanley Town in a match closer than the scoreline suggests. The U16’s didn’t have a game.

 

 

Sunday 25th October

Only the U21’s were in action today and they lost a close game 3-2 away at Leek CSOB. After going 3-0 down the lads did really well to bring it back to 3-2 but just couldn’t get an equaliser, let’s hope for better luck next weekend.

Sunday 18th October

A mixed set of results today, the U21’s won an exciting game 5-3 against Florence, after leading 3-0 and being pegged back to 3-3 the boys showed great spirit to get back into the game and end up winning. The U16’s lost another close game to Audley 4-3 with Dan, Gaz and new boy Connor getting our goals, Sam was man of the match. The U9’s kept up their winning streak with a 3-0 win over Eagles in the cup, the goals coming from Leo (2) and and own goal with Brandon named Man of the Match.

Sunday 11th October

The U21’s lost a close-fought game, against the current league leaders Ball Haye Green, 3-2 with Lewis S and Will scoring our goals. The U16’s lost 5-1 to a very good Heswall side in the Cheshire Cup, Callum scoring our consolation goal. The U9’s brightened the day with a 2-0 win against Nantwich Town Panthers, Jamie and Kody getting our goals. Jamie was man of the match.

Sunday 4th October

The U16’s lost a difficult game away at Shamblers 4-0 but there was better news for the U9’s with an impressive 5-0 win against Crewe FC Star Blues with Leo hitting all five goals. Not suprisingly Leo was also named man of the match! The U21’s match was postponed as their opponents were involved in a cup game.

Sunday 27th September

The U21’s had a great win today, hitting a last minute winner to beat Leek Town 3-2 away from home, the goals coming from Ben and Chris (2). The U16’s lost 5-2 to the Alex Soccer Centre with Sam and Dan getting their goals.

Sunday 20th September

A disappointing day today with the U21’s going down 3-0 away at Kidsgrove and the U16’s losing 3-1 at Stone Dominoes, hopefully we can get better results next weekend!

Sunday 13th September

The U16’s got off to a fantastic start today beating Alsager Town 5-2 with goals from Josh, Dan (2), Levi and Sam. The U21’s went down 6-2 to Bradwell, the result even more disappointing as they were 2-0 up at one stage. Hopefully there’ll be wins for all our teams next weekend!.

Sunday 6th September

The U21’s first match today was postponed after their opponents withdrew from the League, a new team has now taken their place but not in time for today’s game. The U9’s got off to a flying start though winning their first match of the season 4-3.

Monday 1st September

Welcome to the new season, we will be keeping you updated through these pages on each of our teams. Our oldest team this season is the U21’s who will play in the U21 league of the Potteries Junior Youth League. Our U16’s team have been promoted to Division One of the PJYL and our U9’s will remain playing at the Alex Soccer Centre in the mini-leagues.
