Wednesday 18th July

Firstly a warm welcome to Ryan who has joined the U15’s, welcome to Brookfield Ryan, we hope you enjoy playing for us.

A reminder that there is training this Thursday 19th but then there will be no training for the following two weeks so you can all enjoy the summer holidays.

Also we’re delighted to announce that Grenson Motor Company have agreed to continue sponsoring the U15 team and will be providing us with a new kit and new training tops for the new season.

Saturday 30th June

We entered two U15 and two U12 teams in the Young Lions tournament at Bebbington on the Wirral today. One team from each age group made it into the quarter finals (the U15 team by winning their group) but unfortunately neither team could progress any further. Still a good day was had by all, well played to all our boys.

Sunday 10th June

The U15’s entered two teams in the Vauxhall Motors Tournament at Ellesmere Port today, one team narrowly missed qualifying but our other side progressed all the way to the final where they were unlucky to lose 1-0. Very well done to all the boys.

Saturday 9th June

The U12’s entered two teams in the Vauxhall Motors Tournament at Ellesmere Port today, both teams did well and got some good results but unfortunately neither side progressed to the quarter finals. Well played to all the boys who took part.

Friday 8th June

We held our End of Season Awards Night at the Duke of Gloucester tonight, whilst the weather wasn’t kind so we couldn’t have a bbq a great night was still enjoyed by everyone. Many thanks to Paul and Suzanne for allowing us the use of the pub again.

Award winners for the U12’s were: Players Player of the Year - Callum; Parents Player of the Year - Adam; Top Scorer - Levi; Best in Training - Macca; Most Improved Player - Gaz.

Award winners for the U15’s were: Players Player of the Year - Robbie; Parents Player of the Year - Tom D; Top Scorer - Tom D; Best in Training - Loz; Most Improved Player - Matty.

Sunday 27th May

Congratulations to Crewe Alex on winning promotion to League One in their play-off match today. We took a coach load of our players and their families and friends to Wembley and everyone had a fantastic time. Please click here for some photo’s of our day out.

Thursday 24th May

Well done to the U12’s who played their final game of the season tonight against Nantwich Town Bears, winning 7-0, with Levi getting another hat-trick and even our keeper Tom getting a goal in what will be his last appearance for us. The U12’s have finished in a very creditable 3rd place in their League, a fantastic performance in their first season together.

Monday 21st May

Please note that the coach to Wembley will now depart from outside the Municipal Buildings in Crewe town centre at 7.30am on Sunday. Due to the volume of coaches leaving from various locations the coach company/police have moved some starting points about. There are still a few tickets available to travel, contact Glyn asap if you’re interested.

Sunday 20th May

The U12’s did us proud today by playing in our first ever Cup Final, they got beaten 4-0 but put on a great display against Nantwich Dabbers. Well done on reaching the Final!

There are still a few seats left on the coach to Wembley next Sunday, please contact Glyn asap if you’d like to go. The coach will depart from the Duke of Gloucester at 7.30am. Tickets cost £22.

Friday 18th May

The U15’s were unlucky to lost 4-2 to Nantwich Town in their last League game of the season tonight with Ellis getting both our goals.

Thursday 17th May

We’re off to Wembley! Congratulations to Crewe Alex for getting to the League Two Play Off Final on Sunday 27th May, we’re running a coach to Wembley to watch this massive match. Tickets cost £22 per person, the coach will depart around 7.30am and will park at the Green Man at Wembley (approx 5 minute walk to the stadium). Link to the Green Man website here . All players, family and friends are welcome. Please note that you must arrange your own match tickets through the Alex Club Shop, we cannot obtain these for you. Sunday 13th May

Excellent results for both our sides today with the U12’s beating Alsager 6-1 with a hat-trick from Bradley and the U15’s beating Betley 3-2 with a Man City style comeback of our own, scoring two late goals to secure the win!

The U15’s play their last League match of the season on Friday whilst the U12’s will be playing in the League Cup Final against Nantwich Dabbers. Best of luck boys!

Saturday 12th May

We entered two U12’s teams in the Sandbach tournament today, both our sides did really well as both got to the semi-finals stage of their group but sadly neither could win through to the final. Well done to all the boys on a fantastic performance.

Friday 11th May

The U15’s lost 3-1 to the Soccer Centre tonight after putting on a good performance, they play again on Sunday whilst the U12’s are playing in the Sandbach tournament tomorrow and have a League game Sunday too.

Sunday 6th May

The U12’s got a good draw 2-2 against Betley today with Connor getting both of the goals. The U15’s didn’t have a game.

There’s been some further changes to fixtures - the U12’s League Cup Final is now scheduled for Sunday 20th May. As a result the U15’s match that day has been moved to Friday 18th May.

Thursday 3rd May

A reminder that as from next week we are changing to our summer training schedule (hopefully the weather will take note!):

U15’s - training next week on Wednesday at the Barony from 6.30-8.00pm and on Thursdays at the Barony, same times, thereafter.

U12’s - training on Thursdays from next week at the Georges from 6.30-7.30pm.

Wednesday 2nd May

Well done to the U12’s who beat Stapeley 6-1 tonight after another great display, Levi claimed another hat-trick to take his goal scoring tally for the season to an amazing 52 goals. Let’s hope we can get another good result on Sunday. The U15’s don’t have a game this weekend.

Sunday 29th April

A fantastic result for the U15’s today as they beat a strong Crewe FC side 4-3 after being 3-1 down at one stage. The match was played in torrential rain throughout so well done to all the boys and their parents who battled through the elements.

The U12’s match was postponed due to the bad weather and has been rearranged for this Wednesday at Mirrion Street, kick off 6.30pm.

Thursday 26th April

We are delighted to confirm that our End of Season Party and Presentation Evening will be held on Friday 8th June at the Duke of Gloucester, University Way, Crewe starting at 7.30pm. All players, parents and family are very welcome to attend. Many thanks to Paul and Suzanne for allowing us to use the facilities at the pub.

Sunday 22nd April

Our sides were unbeaten today, the U12’s getting a fantastic 4-2 win over Stapeley and the U15’s a good draw 3-3 against Nantwich Town, both teams were actually playing alongside each other at Mirrion Street.

Thursday 19th April

Please note there has been a late change of venue for the U15’s match this Sunday, it will now take place at Mirrion Street kick off 11.30 so both our teams will now be in action there at the same time (in case anyone thinks they’re seeing double!).

Tuesday 17th April

Well done to the U12’s who got back to winning ways tonight with a 1-0 win over Cheshire Blades Tigers, Connor getting the important goal. Both our sides are back in action on Sunday so we hope both can get another win.

Sunday 15th April

The boys were back in League action today after the Easter holidays and fresh from the Holland tour for the U15’s who won convincingly 5-1 against Cruventus. The U12’s also put on a fantastic performance narrowly losing 3-1 against the runaway League leaders Nantwich Dabbers. The U12’s are also in action on Tuesday night so hopefully they will get back to winning ways then.

Sunday 8th April

The U15’s continued their tour today playing in a tournament at Rood Wit 62 in Helmond, Holland. They played 7 games in all and did superbly, winning 5 out of the 7 games to finish in 3rd place overall. They were the only side to beat the eventual winners of the competition so very well done to all the boys. We were presented with a very nice trophy for finishing 3rd so have got something good to show for our efforts.

Saturday 7th April

The U15’s played a friendly in Germany today against Rasensport Brand Aachen and lost 5-2 after leading 2-1 at one stage. The team played really well though as the opposition were a quality side. Afterwards everyone enjoyed a walk around Aachen.

Tuesday 3rd April

A great result for the U12’s tonight as they defeated Ruskin 7-2 with six different players managing to get on the score-sheet. Well done to all the team!

Sunday 1st April

Mixed results for our sides today with the U12’s getting a superb 4-4 draw against Alex Soccer Centre Red Dot although they were very unlucky not to win and the U15’s were unlucky to lose 1-0 to Alsager Corinthians. The U12’s are next in action on Tuesday night whilst the U15’s are off on their tour of Holland and Germany this Thursday, hope everyone enjoys the trip!

Tuesday 27th March

We have received notification from the League that the U12’s game next Tuesday evening against Ruskin will now be played at King George Playing Fields, pitch 8, kick off still at 6.30pm.

Sunday 25th March

We’re thrilled to report that the U12’s put on a fantastic performance today against Alsager in their Cup semi-final to win 7-4 and progress to the League Cup Final. We’re not sure when the final will take place yet, it’s often over the spring bank holiday weekend, we’ll update as soon as we have details. Well done too to Levi on hitting another hat-trick. Unfortunately the U15’s played really well but went down 3-0 to the League leaders, Alex Soccer Centre.

Sunday 18th March

Another great weekend for both our sides with both winning by 6-1 scorelines just to keep things equal. Levi was in fine scoring form for the U12’s again, grabbing a hat-trick this weekend. Next weekend the U12’s will be playing in the League Cup semi-final against Alsager whilst the U15’s have a tricky match against the Soccer Centre.

Sunday 11th March

Great results for our sides today with the U12’s thumping Stapeley 13-0 with Levi scoring an amazing 8 goals! The U15’s also beat Stapeley, this time by 3-0 so a total of 16 goals for and none conceded - an excellent day all round!

Sunday 4th March

Mixed results for our sides today, the U15’s beat Stapeley 3-1 but the U12’s lost 5-0 to the current unbeaten League leaders, Nantwich Town Dabbers. Hopefully both sides can get a win next weekend.

Sunday 26th February

Not a good day for either of our sides today as both teams went down to crushing defeats. The U15’s lost 4-0 against Nantwich Town and the U12’s lost 6-1 to Alex Red Dot. Hopefully things will improve next weekend!

Sunday 19th February

Today’s U12’s friendly has been postponed due to the overnight snow/frost on the pitch. Hopefully we’ll finally get a game again next weekend!

Friday 17th February

The U12’s have managed to arrange a friendly for Sunday morning. They will be playing Cheshire Blades U13’s at the Peacock. Let’s hope the weather keeps ok so it can go ahead!

Friday 3rd February

All games in the South Cheshire Youth League have been called off this weekend due to the freezing conditions and poor forecast for the weekend, no doubt the fixtures will be rearranged at some point in the future.

We would also like to welcome Connor to Brookfield, he has joined our U12’s side and we look forward to him being part of our team, hope you enjoy playing for us Connor.

Sunday 29th January

There were good results for both our teams today - the U15’s won 4-0 against Betley, in their first competitive game for a couple of months, and the U12’s won 2-0 against Cheshire Blades Tigers, let’s hope we can keep the good form going next weekend!

Sunday 22nd January

The U12’s had a great win against Alsager Town 4-2 today, with Levi grabbing another two goals. Hopefully the boys good form will continue to next weekend.

Both our teams are in action at the Georges next weekend, both matches have unusual kick off times - the U12’s kick off at 10.15 and the U15’s at 11.45.

Saturday 21st January

The U15’s played a friendly against Stapeley today, due to our lack of League fixtures, running out with a 2-1 victory. Our first League game of the new year will take place next weekend.

Friday 20th January

The U15’s would like to welcome Josh ‘Foz’ to Brookfield, we hope you enjoy playing for us. We’re also sorry that Lewis D has decided to move on, thanks for the time you spent with us Lewis and good luck for the future.

Sunday 15th January

All matches were called off today in the South Cheshire Youth League due to the heavy frost. The U12’s are due to be back in action next weekend whilst we await a fixture being planned for the U15’s.

Sunday 8th January

The U12’s were back in action today after the Christmas break and came out 4-3 winners in an end-to-end game with Betley, Levi was straight back into goalscoring form, netting all four of our goals, well done Levi! We’re still waiting for confirmation from the League of the next game for the U15’s but the U12’s will be back in action next weekend against Stapeley.

Saturday 17th December

The South Cheshire Youth League have postponed all matches this weekend due to the snow and ice so our next fixtures will now be in the new year though we are still waiting for the League to schedule the games.

A reminder that it’s our Christmas Party on Monday though which promises to be a good evening.

Sunday 11th December

Only the U12’s were in action today and they went down 2-0 to the League leader Alex Soccer Centre Red Dot in a very close game. Next weekend both our sides are playing their last matches before the Christmas break.

Our Christmas Party will be held on Monday 19th at the Duke of Gloucester, University Way, Crewe starting at 7.00pm. All the family are invited. Our very grateful thanks to Paul and Suzanne of the Duke of Gloucester (parents of Tom the U12 goalie) for letting us use the facilities and supplying the buffet. Please try and support them in the future.

Tuesday 6th December

The League have added fixtures on Sunday 18th December for both our sides, both against tough opposition in teams from Nantwich. Let’s hope we can end the year with good results though!

Sunday 5th December

Mixed fortunes for our two teams today with the U12’s recording another convincing win 4-1 against Nantwich Town Bears but the U15’s lost a close game 1-0 against Alsager Corinthians. The U15’s now have no more fixtures scheduled, at the moment, before the New Year, the U12’s play their final game of the year next weekend against the League leaders Alex Soccer Centre Red Dot.

Thursday 1st December

We are delighted to welcome Bradley to the U12’s squad after he transferred to us this week, we hope you enjoy being part of our team.

Sunday 27th November

Both our sides were again victorious today, the U12’s smashing Wistaston Lynx 8-0 with a hat-trick from Levi (again) and the U15’s beat Cruventus 2-1. Well done to all the boys, let’s hope we can both win again next weekend.

Sunday 20th November

Both our sides were in action today and both came away with impressive wins: the U15’s beat Betley 6-0 and the U12’s beat Cheshire Blades Tigers 3-1, well done to all our boys.

Next weekend we are both in action at the Georges, the U12’s with a 10.00am kick off and the U15’s kick off at 11.30, please do your best to be there to support both our sides.

Friday 18th November

The League has agreed to our request to alter the kick off time of the U15’s match on 27th November, it will now kick off at 11.30am. This is because the U12’s are also playing at the Georges that day. We hope the members of both sides will be able to watch and support each other.

Sunday 13th November

A great win for the U12’s today as they beat Alsager Town 5-0 with a great performance by all the team, Levi and Adam both hitting two goals and Macca the other.

The U15’s didn’t have a game today but both teams are back in action next weekend when we hope this good run of form will continue.

Monday 7th November

We are delighted to confirm that there will be a Christmas Party for all players, parents and brothers/sisters at the Duke of Gloucester on Monday 19th December. Further details nearer the time but put the date in your diary now!

Sunday 6th November

Both our teams had great results today, the U12’s beating Stapeley 6-3 in the League Cup to go storming into the semi-finals and the U15’s were unlucky to only draw 2-2 with Crewe FC who had a 100% record prior to meeting us. The U15’s don’t have a match next weekend but the U12’s are back in League action at Alsager.

Sunday 30th October

Both our sides were in action in friendlies today and both came away with a good win - the U15’s won 4-1 against Bank Rovers U16’s and the U12’s won 4-2 against Alsager Dynamos U11’s, let’s hope both sides can retain the good form next weekend when our competitive fixtures resume.

Friday 28th October

The U12’s also have a friendly on Sunday now - against Alsager Dynamos U11’s at the Georges, kick off 10.00am.

Thursday 27th October

The U15’s have a friendly arranged for this Sunday, 30th October, against Bank Rovers U16’s at the Barony, kick off 10.00am.

Sunday 16th October

Another disappointing day for both our sides today, the U12’s went down 3-2 to Betley and the U15’s lost another close game 1-0 against Crewe FC. There’s no games for the next couple of weekends due to half term, hopefully the break will mean both our sides will be raring to go when we’re next in action.

Sunday 9th October

A slightly better day for our teams today, the U12’s managed to come back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 against Ruskin, they even had a late ‘winner’ controversially ruled out by the ref, unfortunately the U15’s lost 6-1 at the Soccer Centre. The U15’s bad luck with injuries continued as well with Matty being taken to hospital with an arm injury, luckily nothing is broken although he’s damaged some tendons, get well soon Matty. Let’s hope both teams can record a win next weekend.

Sunday 2nd October

A disappointing day for both our sides today as both teams lost - the U15’s away at Appleton Boys in the Cheshire Junior Cup and the U12’s lost their first league game of the season 3-0 to Nantwich Town, hopefully both sides can bounce back next weekend.

Tuesday 27th September

We have received directions from Appleton Boys in Warrington, the U15 teams’ opponents this coming Sunday in the 2nd round of the Cheshire Junior Cup. Please see the fixture tab for the full directions. Postcode is WA4 5RL - meet at 10.10am in the Pavilion Car Park.

Sunday 25th September

A mixed day for our sides today who were both in action in the cup, the U12’s staged a thrilling comeback from 3-0 down inside 15 minutes to eventually run out 5-3 winners and progress to the next round but the U15’s lost a tricky match to last season’s cup winners 3-0. However, the U15’s are back in cup action next weekend when we play a second round fixture in the Cheshire Cup at Appleton Boys in Warrington.

Sunday 18th September

Both our teams had great results again today - the U12’s had another stunning victory 11-1 against Nantwich Bears and are now two points clear at the top of the table! The U15’s had a very creditable 1-1 draw against Alsager Corinthians. Unfortunately our captain Ellis had to be taken to hospital during the game after suffering a nasty injury. Ellis has been told he’s damaged several muscles in his leg and will be on crutches for around 6 weeks, get well soon Ellis!

Friday 16th September

The U15’s are playing at a new ground on Sunday - Wood Park in Alsager - which is behind Alsager Town FC. For sat navs the postcode to use is ST7 2NL. Directions from Crewe are: Enter Alsager on the B5077, go through Alsager before turning left into Shady Grove, go to the bottom of the road and turn left into Wilbrahams Way and then first right into The Rode. Follow this road around until you see The Butts on the right, the ground is at the bottom of this road. We understand there is a very small car park which will probably be full, we believe parking is a problem in the area so, with us being a late kick off, please leave plenty of time to find a space. We have also been told that traffic wardens patrol the area on Sunday matchdays so please be careful where you park.

Sunday 11th September

Both our sides started off their League campaigns with a win today. The U12’s won 12-0 against Wistaston Lynx and go top of the table, Levi got 7 of the goals and the U15’s beat Cruventus 4-2 with Ellis getting two goals. Well done to both teams!

Thursday 8th September

We have been drawn to play away against the Soccer Centre in the first round of the League Cup, the match will take place on 25th September.

Tuesday 6th September

We played a friendly at Stone Dominoes tonight and ran out 12-0 winners which is a great boost before the first League game on Sunday. Ellis managed to net 4 goals! Unfortunately Kieran suffered a serious leg injury and had to be taken to A&E and didn’t get away until 1.00am but thankfully nothing is broken although he is on crutches for a while. Hopefully he should be able to play again before too long. We all wish him a very speedy recovery.

Sunday 4th September

The U15’s did really well today to progress to the 2nd round of the Cheshire Junior Cup beating Congleton 5-0. We will play Appleton Boys in Warrington in the 2nd round on 2nd October.

Monday 15th August

The U15’s have been drawn away at Congleton Hotspur in the first round of the Cheshire Cup. This is the first time we’ve played in this competition so we’re hoping for a good cup run! The match is due to be played on Sunday 4th September.

The U12’s are in action against Red Dot at Ruskin School this Wednesday night in a pre-season friendly.

Sunday 24th July

We entered three teams in the Stockport Junior Blues Tournament at Wilmslow today, one U15’s side made it to the quarter finals and the other just missed out on goal difference from going through. Our U12’s were up against some tough competition and didn’t qualify either but everyone had a good day.

Monday 18th July

We have received information from Stockport Junior Blues regarding the tournament on Sunday. We have 1x U12’s side and 2x U15’s sides competing. The first games kick off at 9.30am and the last group games kick off at 2.40pm. The top four of each group go into quarter finals, with semi’s and a final following. Entry to the school is signposted from a roundabout on the A34 (the road that leads to M&S Handforth and John Lewis). There is a charge of £1 per car to park. U15’s will play in groups of 10 (so minimum 9 games), U12’s there are a total of 17 teams so far registered so may possibly have not quite so many games. Full address details are on the fixtures page. There are 80 clubs involved (194 teams so far) so we need to arrive early.

Sunday 17th July

The U14’s beat Winsford Diamonds by the amazing scoreline of 8-4 today, playing really well against a very physical side. Both our sides are next in action next Sunday at the Stockport Junior Blue’s tournament which we are still awaiting further details for.

Saturday 16th July

Congratulations to the U11’s who have won their first ever trophy - winning the Audley Tournament after playing brilliantly throughout to run out deserved winners. Well done to all the boys!

Wednesday 13th July

The U14’s have a friendly at Winsford on Sunday. Please meet at the ground at 10.15am. There is a car park on the left at the bottom of Grange Lane. Full address details are on the fixtures page.
